Internship Marketing and Operations Associate

Job Overview

The Marketing and Operations Associate will play a critical role in driving our marketing initiatives and supporting operational tasks for our food business in Yogyakarta. This is a hybrid role, primarily work-from-home, with on-site responsibilities for operational tasks. We are looking for a tenacious, mission-focused individual who thrives under pressure, learns quickly, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

● Write and publish engaging articles in English to promote our brand and products across various platforms.

● Manage daily social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement.

● Execute marketing campaigns and other related tasks to enhance brand visibility.

● Utilize Canva (or similar tools) to design visually appealing marketing materials (a plus).

Operations

● Conduct on-the-ground operations in Yogyakarta for our food business, including sourcing ingredients and materials.

● Negotiate with suppliers, shippers, and other partners to ensure cost-effective and timely operations.

● Liaise with stakeholders to maintain smooth operational workflows and resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

● Fresh graduate or undergraduate student in their final year

● Based in Yogyakarta, with the ability to work from home and perform on-site tasks as needed

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian, with a particular emphasis on English proficiency for article writing.

● Experience or interest in content creation, social media management, or marketing.

● Ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers and partners.

● Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.

● Familiarity with Canva or graphic design tools is a plus.

● Previous experience in marketing or operations is preferred but not required for the right candidate
