Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at CV. MURNA LOKA DEWATA (MURNA HOSPITALITY) in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall aesthetic of our hospitality facilities. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest areas and common spaces meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, directly contributing to guest satisfaction and the reputation of our establishment. This role is essential to our operations and requires someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service through meticulous attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

1. Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
2. Change bed linens, towels and other furnishings on a regular and as-needed basis
3. Vacuum, sweep and mop floors in assigned areas
4. Dust furniture, fixtures and décor items throughout the property
5. Clean and sanitise bathroom facilities including toilets, sinks, showers and bathtubs
6. Replenish guest amenities such as toiletries, towels and supplies
7. Report any maintenance issues, damages or repairs needed to supervisors
8. Follow all health and safety protocols and use cleaning products appropriately
9. Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly
10. Work efficiently to complete assigned areas within scheduled timeframes
11. Respond promptly to guest requests and special cleaning needs
12. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience working as a Housekeeper in a hospitality, hotel or similar environment
2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
3. Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items
4. Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
5. Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanour
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably basic English
8. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals
9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons and weekends as required
10. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role
11. Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
