Video Producer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Producer to join the team at Shirtual. This is a full-time position based in Surabaya, East Java. As Video Producer, you will play a central role in conceptualising, planning, and executing high-quality video content that drives engagement across our advertising and media platforms. This role is strategically important to our content creation efforts and directly contributes to our brand visibility and audience connection in the competitive advertising and media landscape.

Key responsibilities

1. Conceptualise and develop creative video ideas and concepts aligned with brand objectives and audience preferences

2. Plan and coordinate all aspects of video production, including pre-production scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management

3. Direct and oversee video shoots, ensuring adherence to creative vision, technical standards and project timelines

4. Video Production (Shooting), act as the main videographer. Handle setup and operation of camera gear, lighting equipment, and audio recording tools on set

5. Collaborate with writers, designers, animators and other creative professionals to produce compelling multimedia content

6. Edit and post-produce video content using industry-standard software, including colour grading, sound design and visual effects

7. Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, maintaining quality whilst meeting strict deadlines

8. Review and approve final video deliverables, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and client specifications

9. Stay updated with emerging video production trends, technologies and best practices in the advertising and media industry

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience working as a Video Producer or in a similar production role within the advertising, media or creative industry

2. Strong proficiency with video production software, including editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

3. Demonstrated ability to conceptualise and execute creative video content from initial concept through to final delivery

4. Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently

5. Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse creative teams and external stakeholders

6. Knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolution standards and best practices for various platforms including social media, broadcast and digital channels

7. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, professional output

8. Understanding of storytelling principles and how to craft narratives that resonate with target audiences

9. Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software (such as After Effects) is advantageous

10. Experience in advertising or branded content production is preferred

11. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly to team members and clients
