Join Our Opening Team – A New Rum Bar in Bali

We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Barback to support our bar team as we bring an exciting new rum bar to Bali. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow their career in bartending.

What We're Looking For

● A positive, outgoing, and eager-to-learn individual with a strong work ethic.

● Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the bar team.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality environment.

● Familiar with bar setup, opening and closing procedures, and daily mise en place.

● Knowledge of rum, wines, and premium spirits is an advantage.

● Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.

● Having upselling skills is an advantage.

● Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and late-night shifts.

● Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, Russian, or Mandarin is a plus.

● Professional demeanor with a proactive and service-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare and maintain the bar's mise en place before, during, and after service.

● Restock spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar supplies to ensure smooth operations.

● Support bartenders by preparing ingredients, polishing glassware, and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.

● Ensure the bar area, equipment, and storage spaces are clean, organized, and fully stocked.

● Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory according to company standards.

● Support the bar team in delivering efficient, high-quality service during busy periods.

● Learn about the venue's beverage program, particularly rum, cocktails, and wine, while developing bartending knowledge.

● Contribute to a positive team environment and help create memorable guest experiences.
