About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our Design & Engineering Department as part of the Structural Engineering Team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting geotechnical analyses, developing foundation and earthwork designs, and providing technical recommendations to support various industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization or strong background in Geotechnical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in a design consultant, EPC, or engineering company.
Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design principles.
Proficient in geotechnical analysis software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, LPILE, Slide, Settle3D, or equivalent.
Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of SNI, Eurocode, ACI, ASTM, or other relevant engineering standards is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret geotechnical investigation reports, including borehole logs, laboratory test results, and field testing data.
Perform geotechnical analyses such as bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, excavation, and retaining structure assessments.
Develop foundation design recommendations, including shallow foundations, bored piles, driven piles, raft foundations, and other suitable systems.
Prepare geotechnical design calculations, technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Coordinate with Structural, Civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and optimized design solutions.
Evaluate ground improvement methods and provide recommendations based on project requirements.
Ensure designs comply with applicable national and international engineering codes, standards, and project specifications.
Provide technical support during design reviews and respond to engineering queries throughout the project lifecycle.
