Job Summary
The Quality & Process Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality standards and process improvements to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role analyzes workflows, identifies improvement opportunities, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
- Monitor operational processes to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Conduct quality audits and process evaluations to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to recommend process enhancements.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies.
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with department heads to improve workflow efficiency and productivity.
- Provide training and guidance on quality standards, SOPs, and process improvements.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on quality performance and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Support new system implementations, process automation, and operational excellence projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in quality assurance, process improvement, operations, or a similar role.
- Experience in retail, distribution, logistics, or FMCG is an advantage.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is an advantage.
