Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join PT Interpak Industries Batam in a full-time capacity. Based in Batam, Kota Riau Islands, this is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations and ensuring efficient storage, distribution, and logistics management. The Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in optimising warehouse productivity, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the company's operational objectives. This position requires a hands-on leader who can drive continuous improvement and manage a dynamic team in our fast-paced distribution environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods

2. Manage inventory control systems and ensure accurate stock records and regular audits

3. Supervise and lead the warehouse team, providing training, performance management, and development opportunities

4. Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment

5. Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency

6. Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfilment

7. Monitor warehouse productivity metrics and implement process improvements

8. Manage budget and reduce operational costs whilst maintaining service quality

9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

10. Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse management or similar logistics operations roles

2. Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse teams and achieving operational targets

3. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control software

4. Demonstrated expertise in health and safety management and regulatory compliance

5. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

9. Experience with logistics optimisation and process improvement methodologies is advantageous

10. Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred
