Key responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment authorisation, and debt collection
Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Monitor and control budgets across departments, conducting variance analysis and providing recommendations for cost optimisation
Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance feedback
Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other key financial accounts
Manage payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee salaries and benefits
Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review and strategic planning
Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and successful audit outcomes
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent Indonesian accounting certification
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance management roles
Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Indonesian and English
Experience supervising and developing accounting teams
Knowledge of payroll administration and tax compliance
Understanding of internal control frameworks and audit procedures
