Job Role

The FAT (Finance, Accounting & Tax) Manager is a senior financial leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's end-to-end finance, accounting, taxation, and financial governance functions. The position plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing cash flow management, and supporting strategic decision-making within a high-volume mining and commodity trading environment.

Working closely with senior management and regional headquarters, the successful candidate will lead daily financial operations, manage corporate tax compliance, oversee budgeting and financial reporting processes, coordinate external audits, and ensure financial reporting aligns with both Indonesian accounting standards and international corporate reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily finance, accounting, bookkeeping, treasury, and cash management activities to ensure complete financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Manage all corporate taxation activities, including tax planning, tax reporting, compliance, and coordination during tax audits and regulatory reviews.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), banking relationships, payment cycles, and cash flow management to maintain healthy financial operations.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, monthly financial reports, management reports, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.
• Develop and strengthen internal financial controls, accounting policies, and governance frameworks in accordance with corporate standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, commercial banks, and government authorities on finance and compliance matters.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, taxation regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with regional headquarters to deliver timely financial reporting, management information, and cross-border financial analysis.
• Identify financial risks and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience across Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial or strategic leadership experience.
• Strong experience within the Mining, Oil & Gas, bulk commodity trading, maritime logistics, or international supply chain industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Indonesian taxation regulations, corporate income tax, withholding tax, financial reporting standards, cost accounting, budgeting, treasury management, and AR/AP processes.
• Strong experience managing external audits, tax audits, financial compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, financial planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to financial governance and compliance.
• Comfortable operating within a fast-paced multinational organization while coordinating closely with international headquarters.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is mandatory for daily communication with regional headquarters.
• Professional proficiency in English is also required.
