We're looking for an energetic and experienced Barista to join our new Vinyl, Coffee & Pool Bar opening soon in Bali. This is more than just a coffee role. We're looking for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a unique community-focused venue where great coffee, good music, and great vibes come together.

Location: Ungasan, Bali, Indonesia

About the Role

As a Barista and Café All-Rounder, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping with the day-to-day operations of the venue. You'll be making quality coffee, serving guests, preparing simple food items, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks.
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Engage with customers and help create a welcoming community atmosphere.
• Prepare and cook basic meals, snacks, and café menu items.
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen organisation.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café, bar, and customer areas.
• Take orders, handle payments, and assist with daily operations.
• Help manage stock, inventory, and supplier deliveries.
• Support venue events, activations, and community gatherings when required.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café or hospitality environment.
• Strong coffee knowledge and ability to dial in espresso and maintain quality standards.
• Confident preparing basic meals and food items.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
• Genuine love for customer service and building relationships with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organisation.
• Team player willing to assist wherever needed.
• Good spoken English preferred.
• Assist with creating social media content for the venue.
• Be comfortable appearing in photos and videos for marketing and promotional purposes.
• Help capture behind-the-scenes moments, events, and daily venue activities.
• Contribute ideas for community events, promotions, and customer engagement

Bonus Points

• Experience working in specialty coffee.
• Interest in music, vinyl culture, community events, or hospitality.
• Experience in customer service, café management, or food preparation.
• Knowledge of basic inventory and stock management.
• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, or other social media platforms.
• Comfortable being on camera and engaging with customers in content.
