Develop, implement, and continuously improve Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and management systems in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Lead and oversee all HSE activities across operations to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, safety patrols, audits, and hazard identification programs to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
Monitor and evaluate workplace safety, occupational health, environmental performance, fire prevention, and emergency preparedness programs.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near-misses, occupational illnesses, and environmental events; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate HSE training, safety campaigns, toolbox meetings, emergency drills, and awareness programs to strengthen employee competence and safety culture.
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, SMK3, environmental regulations, hazardous waste (B3) management requirements, and other applicable standards and certifications.
Prepare, analyse, and submit HSE reports, performance metrics, regulatory documentation, and compliance reports to management and government authorities.
Manage emergency response systems, including evacuation procedures, fire prevention programs, first aid arrangements, incident response teams, and business continuity plans.
Coordinate environmental monitoring activities and implement pollution prevention initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of company operations.
Liaise with government agencies, certification bodies, contractors, external auditors, local communities, and other stakeholders on HSE-related matters.
Lead internal and external HSE audits and support certification processes, including ISO, SMK3, RSPO, ISPO, ISCC, and other relevant standards.
Supervise, mentor, and develop HSE personnel while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Provide strategic recommendations to management on HSE risks, compliance requirements, and improvement opportunities.
