Job Description

Job Duties

• Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements; speaking with clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs.

• Provide contextualization for seismic data as applies to specific industry verticals – primarily geothermal and critical infrastructure, but also oil and gas, mining, etc.

• Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively.

• Generate technical reports and presentations for clients.

• Consolidate diverse seismic monitoring solutions into easily interpretable packages.

• Manage processing projects using the full suite of our workflows from end to end.

• Present processing results and lead technical discussions with clients.

• Provide guidance to product development roadmap via market insights and customer feedback and advocate for customer needs.

• Interface with Sales and Product teams to align client expectations with services and deliverables.

• Familiarity with processing of seismic events using internal Analyst toolkits, to gain a working insight into the tools, workflows and challenges inherent in complex seismicity monitoring projects and datasets.

• Interpret large geophysical datasets from various passive seismic monitoring applications.

• Assist implementation and integration of new geophysical data processing techniques into client project workflows.

• Provide continuous feedback on our data analysis tools and processes to drive bug fixes, design changes and usability improvements.

• Conduct all business activities in accordance with our HSE policies and company legal compliance requirements.

Requirements

• BSc in Engineering (Geotechnical), Geophysics, Seismology or Physics.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional engineer or geoscientist in the Indonesia energy market.

• Understanding of geothermal and critical infrastructure geotechnical workflows and the ability or desire to bridge the gap between geophysics and traditional geotechnical solutions.

• Experience and involvement with local industry organizations including participation in technical committees, conferences and other events.

• Fluency in Indonesian and English.

• Technical ability to explain product functions and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proven ability to develop relationships with clients and customers, responding promptly and appropriately.

• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

• Understanding of markets and trends, competitive landscape, industry product offerings and customer challenges.

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Prior experience working with seismic data products either as a service provider or customer.

• Prior experience with real-time local or regional seismic network data acquisition, management and analysis.

• Technical sales or business development experience.

• Proficiency in math and signal processing.

• Understanding of and experience with the principles and techniques for earthquake analysis.
