Travel Planner / Tour Designer (Bali)

About the Role

Kija Travel is looking for an experienced Travel Planner / Tour Designer to join our growing team in Bali. We are seeking someone who is passionate about creating exceptional travel experiences and has a proven ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a highly motivated professional who can confidently design custom itineraries, communicate with international clients, and consistently deliver high conversion rates through excellent product knowledge and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Design and cost tailor-made travel itineraries throughout Indonesia.

• Respond to customer enquiries quickly and professionally.

• Build detailed, accurate, and attractive travel proposals.

• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.

• Work with hotels, airlines, transport providers, and local suppliers.

• Manage bookings from enquiry through to confirmation.

• Ensure all itineraries meet company quality standards.

• Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and clients.

• Work closely with the operations and reservations teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Travel Planner, Tour Consultant, or similar role.

• Proven track record of achieving high enquiry-to-booking conversion rates.

• Extensive experience designing customised tours and travel packages.

• Excellent knowledge of Bali and Indonesia travel destinations.

• Strong written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication and sales skills.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple enquiries.

• Experience using travel reservation systems and Microsoft Office.

• Experience with Sabre or other flight booking systems is an advantage.
