Job Description
Directly reporting to the President, the HRD Manager is responsible for overseeing recruitment, documentation, and legal processes within the organization. This role ensures that all Human Resource Development (HRD) processes are executed accurately and in a timely manner
Core Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the daily tasks of all HRD personnel are achieved on schedule
- Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee the company complies with all Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) announcements and government mandates, including minimum wage updates and employment policies
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure company rules and regulations are strictly implemented and followed by all employees
- Financial Accountability: Secure all terminal pay due to employees and ensure accountabilities in clearance forms are fully supported by documentation
- Decision Making: Ensure all critical HRD decisions are approved by the immediate department head
Daily & Periodic Duties
- General Management: Oversee recruitment, legal matters, documentation, and all other HRD-related processes
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and release memorandums or announcements for information dissemination
- Prepare and serve Notice to Explain and Notice of Decision to employees
- Administrative Reporting:
- Attend Management Committee (ManCom) meetings and prepare/release Minutes of the Meeting (M.O.M.)
- Receive resignation letters from all branches and monitor the status of routed clearances
- Coordination: Liaise with different department heads regarding work-related concerns and check monthly billing statements from the security agency
Minimum Requirements
To effectively perform these duties, the candidate should ideally meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, preferably in a distribution or marketing environment.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong mastery of Philippine Labor Laws and DOLE regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word).
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication for preparing legal notices and minutes.
- Strong conflict-resolution and mediation skills.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and clearance monitoring.
