Quantity Surveyor

MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE - Engineering Degree

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and project budgets.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
• Evaluate quotations, prepare bid comparisons, and assist in procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Prepare progress billings, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Review and verify contractor and supplier claims, invoices, and payment requests.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site personnel regarding project costs and quantities.
• Conduct site visits to verify work accomplishments and monitor project progress.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate cost records, reports, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Assist in contract administration and support project planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost estimation (fresh graduates may be considered, if applicable).
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, contracts, and cost control.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other estimating or quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to be assigned in project sites located in Olongapo, Subic Bay, Zambales and Bataan area.

. * Able to drive a Manual Transmission Vehicle (must have a valid driver's license)
