Footwear Production and QC Manager

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Footwear Production and QC Manager to join our dynamic team at Deckers International HK Limited. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring the highest standards of quality control for our footwear products.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end production process, from planning and scheduling to quality assurance and problem-solving

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production workflows and improve efficiency

• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet strict specifications

• Identify and resolve production issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed

• Train and supervise production staff to maintain high levels of performance and quality

• Analyse production data and generate reports to track key metrics and drive continuous improvement

• Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production and quality control management role within the footwear or manufacturing industry

• Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent technical knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards

• Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use relevant software tools

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Production Management, is preferred
