Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products before they are released to production.

You will work closely with the development team to test new features, identify defects, and verify fixes. As the final quality gate before deployment, you will play a key role in maintaining software stability and delivering a great user experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.

- Verify bug fixes through re-testing.

- Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Project Managers throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Ensure all releases meet quality standards before production deployment.

- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release validation.

- Continuously improve testing processes and quality standards.

- Willing to relocate abroad.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Software QA Engineer, Software Tester, or Quality Assurance Analyst.

- Fresh Graduates with internship or project experience are welcome to apply.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Experience creating test cases and reporting software defects.

- Familiar with API testing using Postman.

- Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.

- Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.

- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

- Willing to relocate abroad.
