About the role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Export Import Managerto lead and manage end-to-end export & import operationscustoms compliance, and international trade activitiessupporting our mining and smelting operations.The ideal candidate will ensure efficient customs clearance,regulatory compliance, accurate trade documentation, andeffective coordination with government authorities andlogistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end Export & Importoperations Handle customs clearance and ensure compliancewith Indonesian Customs regulations.

• Prepare and manage export/import documentatior including Master List, Commercial Invoice, Packing List,COO, B/L, AWB, HS Code, PIB & PEB.

• Coordinate with Directorate General of Customs &Excise (Ministry of Finance), PPJK, Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, and other Government Authorities Manage Master List facilities, customs permits and import realization.

• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely customs clearance Control logistics costs, evaluate vendor performance, and drive operational efficiency to ensure on-time delivery and minimise delays

• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensuresmooth business operations.

• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders and shipping agents to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods

• Monitor and track shipments throughout the supply chain

• Ensure all international trade transactions comply with customs regulations, tariff classifications and international trade laws

• Maintain accurate records of all import and export activities for audit and compliance purposes

• Identify opportunities to optimise logistics costs and improve operational efficiency

• Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise during the import/export process and implement corrective actions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in import/export operations, customs procedures or international trade, ideally within the manufacturing or logistics sector

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Export & Import,Customs, Logistics, or International Trade.

• Minimum 3 years in a managerial orsupervisory position. Experience in Mining, Smelting, Manufacturing, or Chemical Industry is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, export/import documentation and international trade compliance

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian Customs Regulation, Export & Import Procedures Master List Management Customs Clearance?ERP /SAP /WMS International Shipping & Trade Compliance

• PPJK Customs-related certificatior

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English and Indonesian

• Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software for tracking shipments and managing documentation

• Fluent in English (spoken & written). Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage.

• Willing to be based in Morowali with roster time

• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure

• Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational environment would be advantageous
