Synthetic Monitoring Engineer

Qualification :

• Minimum S1 education from IT-related majors (Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar fields).
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in QA Automation, Application Automation, Technical Operations, or a related field.
• Understand the basic concepts of automation and application monitoring.
• Have good analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work individually or in a team and have good communication skills.
• Able to adapt to changing applications and business needs.
• Able to compile technical documentation in a structured and well-documented manner.

Job Description :

• Master the development and maintenance of script automation using Python, Appium, or similar tools for web and mobile applications.
• Understand the structure of the application UI and be able to adjust the script to application changes.
• Able to perform error analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in the monitoring and automation process.
• Understand the concepts of synthetic/robotic monitoring, time-based execution, and verification of monitoring results.
• Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain the stability and accuracy of the automation process.
• Understand the concept of reporting, dashboard monitoring, and operational technical documentation.
• Able to coordinate with relevant teams for onboarding new applications and monitoring implementation.
• Having basic knowledge of API integration and monitoring support tools is an added value.
