Purchasing Staff - Trading (C-132685)

About The Company:

• The working venue is in Central Jakarta.

• Our client is a Japanese Trading Company. Currently, they are looking for Purchasing Staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating procurement processes

• Handle sales activities for primarily existing clients and provide regular follow-up to maintain strong customer relationships

• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable products and solutions

• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs), quotations, contracts, and other related sales and purchasing documentation

• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with customers and suppliers

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and monitor order status

• Perform other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Min. Diploma degree from any major

• High conversational level of English

• At least 1 year experience in purchasing from trading company preferably Japanese companies

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Good work ethic and disciplined

• Willing to support Sales function (coordinate with several existing customers)

• Can join immediately
