Engineering Manager (Manufacturing)

About the Company: Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in the frozen seafood industry, specializing in processed shrimp products. The company is export-oriented, with key markets in Japan and the United States.

Job Reseponsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team (supervisors and operators across 3 shifts, ±30–35 personnel).

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and optimization of production machinery and utilities.

• Ensure smooth operation of all engineering systems to support production targets.

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, cost reduction, and equipment reliability.

• Collaborate closely with Production, QA, and PPIC teams to ensure operational excellence.

• Manage CAPEX projects (machine investment, upgrades) and OPEX control.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

• Prepare reports and present updates to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in engineering within manufacturing companies.

• Experience in food processing industry or at least in manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge of machinery, utilities, and maintenance systems.

• Proven leadership experience managing teams and shift operations.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• English proficiency is preferred

Additional Information:

• Employment Type: Permanent (3 months probation)

• Working Hours: Monday–Friday (08:00–17:00)

• Reporting Line: Director level
