Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Vendor to support and coordinate the network refresh deployment
- Test and verify connectivity to critical business applications during and after network cut-over
- Serve as first-level support for network refresh-related issues and escalate to vendor support if needed
- Continuously monitor network performance, resolve issues and communicate updates to stakeholders during hyper-care period
- Provide knowledge transfer of known issues/incidents encountered during hyper-care period to the Operations Team to ensure smooth post-deployment
Required Technical Skills:
- Intermediate to solid understanding of Cisco SDA, ACI and ISE, including configuration, troubleshooting and integration workflows
- Experience with network security protocols and firewalls
- Experience in configuring and managing routers, switches and other network devices
- Familiarity with MPLS, VPN and other WAN technologies
- Knowledge of Quality of Service (QOS) and traffic shaping techniques
- Understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google cloud)
- Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Nagios, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Mid to advanced level expertise in CISCO Software defines technologies including design, deployment, integration and troubleshooting
