About the role

The Finance Manager – Reporting & Controlling (Indonesia) is the country‑level finance owner for SyAqua’s multi‑site operations (Hatcheries). You’ll lead end‑to‑end financial operations, local statutory reporting, and tax compliance (corporate, VAT/GST, WHT, local licenses) while partnering closely with operations/production, Commercial/Sales, Treasury, and FP&A teams.

The Finance Manager – Reporting & Controlling (Indonesia) will drive insightful analysis for the monthly Business Review with the CEO and CFO, ensuring the Indonesian business—across all branches—delivers accurate results. As the executor for our local Data Room & Data Warehouse, you’ll gather, validate and upload both historical actuals and forecast/plan data, enabling seamless integration into the Group platforms for strategic decision‑making and due diligence.

  • Lead day-to-day finance operations, including AP, AR, inventory costing, payroll coordination, and month-end closing.

  • Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with Indonesia GAAP/IFRS and Group reporting requirements.

  • Perform financial analysis, budget variance analysis, and monthly business review presentations for senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, statutory reporting, and external audit requirements.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and drive cost optimization initiatives across operations.

  • Partner with Treasury on cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

  • Manage financial data, reporting, and submissions to the Group Data Room and Data Warehouse.

  • Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, HR, IT, and FP&A to support business performance.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team.

  • Perform other duties assigned by management.


What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (Master’s preferred)

  • Certificated Accountant required; deep Indonesia GAAP/ IFRS expertise

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Familiarity with financial software systems; experience with ERP or reporting tools is an advantage

  • CPA and/or CFA certification is a plus.

  • 5–8 years in Indonesia corporate finance or Big 4 audit with Indonesia GAAP/IFRS focus

  • Hands‑on federal & state tax preparation and compliance

  • Experience in SOX/internal controls environments

  • Proficiency with ERP (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) and BI/consolidation tools

  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good Leadership and management skill

  • Fluent in english both written and verbal

  • Ability to guide and train site personnel in aspects of accounting and finance
