Key Responsibilities
- Install GPS tracking devices, sensors, and related accessories in company and client vehicles or equipment.
- Perform wiring, cable routing, and electrical connections in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Configure, activate, and test GPS devices to ensure accurate tracking and proper functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, wiring, power supply, and connectivity issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement of defective GPS units and accessories.
- Verify installation quality and perform system testing before turnover to the client.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and installation procedures.
- Maintain accurate installation, service, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments regarding installation schedules and technical concerns.
- Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of tools, equipment, and company assets.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and electrical installation standards.
- Provide basic user orientation to clients regarding the operation of GPS tracking systems, when required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related vocational or technical course.
- TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in a related technical field is an advantage.
- Preferably with at least 1–2 years of experience in GPS installation, automotive electrical systems, car accessories installation, or related technical work.
- Fresh graduates with relevant technical training are welcome to apply.
- Knowledgeable in automotive electrical systems, wiring, and electronic devices.
- Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiar with the use of electrical testing tools such as multimeters and testers.
- Possesses good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and willing to travel to customer or project sites.
- With a valid driver's license is an advantage.
