Land Surveyor

Job Summary

The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting land and construction surveys to determine property boundaries, site elevations, and accurate measurements required for project planning and execution. The role ensures that all survey works comply with project plans, engineering standards, and applicable Philippine laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, as-built, and construction surveys.
• Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and reference lines for construction projects.
• Perform site layout and staking based on approved engineering drawings.
• Measure distances, elevations, angles, and contours using surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and Drone (if applicable).
• Prepare survey reports, field notes, sketches, and survey data for engineering and project teams.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data before construction activities begin.
• Assist engineers in interpreting survey results and resolving site discrepancies.
• Monitor the accuracy of construction works by conducting regular survey checks.
• Coordinate with project engineers, QA/QC, subcontractors, and government agencies when necessary.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and safekeeping of surveying equipment.
• Comply with company safety policies and site safety regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Chief Surveyor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geodetic Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer is preferred, but experienced surveying professionals may also be considered depending on the position.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in construction surveying (building, infrastructure, or industrial projects).
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, industrial, or solar construction projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge in using:
• Total Station
• Auto Level
• GPS/GNSS Receiver
• Data Collectors
• Surveying Software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, or similar)
• Can interpret engineering and construction drawings.
• Knowledgeable in Philippine surveying standards and construction practices.
• Willing to work on-site and travel as required.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
