Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to join RIMAN Hong Kong on a full-time basis. Based in Mong Kok, Yau Tsim Mong District, this role is central to our finance function, supporting the accurate recording, analysis and reporting of financial transactions. As an Accountant, you will play a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and maintaining full set of books including AR, AP, GL accounts, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions, with the focus on AP and GL.

2. Conducting daily bank reconciliations and preparing payment schedules on a regular basis

3. Performing journal entries and adjustments in accordance with accounting principles and company policies

4. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management accounts

5. Performing Balance Sheet and Subsidiary ledgers reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness

6. Supporting the completion of financial audits and providing documentation to external auditors

7. Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures

8. Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and documentation

What we're looking for

1. Degree holder, major in Accounting or Finance is preferred

2. Minimum 5 years' solid experience in a financial accounting or general accounting role preferred in a MNC.

3. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with large datasets and create financial schedules

4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping

5. Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

6. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial information clearly

7. Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) to support communications with various stakeholders

8. Familiarity with Hong Kong tax regulations and financial reporting requirements would be beneficial
