Placement: Batam

About the Role

We arecseeking a highly motivated Civil & Infrastructure Staff to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and maintenance of civil works and infrastructure facilities within the shipyard area. The successful candidate will ensure that all civil projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor civil construction and infrastructure projects within the shipyard.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality complies with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

• Prepare quantity take-off, material estimation, and work progress reports.

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal departments during project execution.

• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource utilization.

• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of shipyard infrastructure, including:

  • Roads

  • Drainage systems

  • Buildings

  • Workshops

  • Foundations

  • Utilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company procedures.

• Support infrastructure improvement projects to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in civil construction, infrastructure, industrial facilities, or shipyard projects.

• Fresh graduates with strong internship experience are welcome to apply.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project or Primavera is an advantage).

• Good understanding of structural works, concrete works, steel structures, drainage systems, and infrastructure maintenance.

• Knowledge of HSE practices in construction projects.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Willing to be placed in Batam.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in shipyard, offshore, manufacturing, industrial plants, or heavy construction projects.

• Familiar with Indonesian construction standards (SNI).

• Experience in contractor coordination and project documentation.

• Able to prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantity), cost estimation, and progress reporting.
