The Role
We're looking for an Inventory Manager who is sharp, methodical, and takes genuine ownership of everything that happens to our stock — from the moment goods land in our warehouse to the second they ship out.
This is a hands-on operations role at the core of how Finn Cotton runs. You'll work closely with our Supplier Logistics Specialist, who handles the supplier side, while you own everything on the warehouse side — receiving, cataloging, storage, quality control, and fulfillment tracking. The two roles are built to work hand-in-hand, with no gaps and no overlap.

2. Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Cataloging
- Receive all incoming shipments as they arrive at the warehouse.
- Catalog all items, products, and packaging upon arrival, maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Track incoming orders against what the Supplier Logistics Specialist has ordered, and confirm what has landed.
Warehousing & Storage
- Organise and manage the physical warehouse and storage of all stock.
- Maintain an orderly, efficient, and well-arranged warehouse from arrival through to dispatch.
Inventory Tracking & Stock Control
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of inventory levels at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and flag low or excess stock to management and the Supplier Logistics Specialist.
- Maintain visibility of every item from arrival until it is sent out.
Quality Control — Inbound, Outbound & Returns
- Quality-check items on arrival to confirm they meet Finn Cotton's standards.
- Report any defects or quality issues to the Supplier Logistics Specialist, who takes them up with the supplier.
- Verify quality and accuracy of items when they are shipped out.
- Inspect and process returned items, checking their condition and updating inventory accordingly.
Order & Fulfillment Tracking
- Keep track of orders made by the Supplier Logistics Specialist and their status into the warehouse.
- Track outbound shipments and returns, keeping records accurate and current.
How This Role Works With Supplier Logistics
The Supplier Logistics Specialist owns the supplier-facing side — sourcing, ordering, and resolving supplier issues. You own the warehouse-facing side — receiving, storage, stock levels, quality checking, and fulfillment. Quality issues are found and flagged by you; they're resolved with suppliers by the Specialist. Clean handoff, no confusion.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in inventory management, warehousing, or warehouse operations
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Comfortable with inventory or stock tracking systems and record-keeping
- Able to perform quality checks and document issues clearly
- Reliable, methodical, and able to manage physical stock with accuracy
- Good communication skills for coordinating with the Supplier Logistics Specialist and management
Nice to Have
- Background in apparel, textiles, or consumer goods
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment and returns processing
- Familiarity with inventory software or warehouse management systems
