Customer Service Export
Key Responsibilities
Handle export booking inquiries from customers.
Provide vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, transit time, and cut-off information.
Arrange booking with shipping lines or NVOCCs.
Confirm booking status and space availability.
Send Booking Confirmation to customers.
Remind customers of documentation closing and cargo cut-off deadlines.
Monitor shipment progress from booking until vessel departure.
Inform customers of schedule changes, delays, rollovers, or cancellations.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve shipment-related issues.
Provide regular shipment status updates.
Maintain good relationships with customers.
Prepare shipment reports and customer service reports as required.
Export Documentation
Key Responsibilities
Receive and review Shipping Instructions (SI) from customers.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of shipping documents.
Prepare Draft Bill of Lading (Draft B/L).
Send Draft B/L to customers for approval.
Revise the Draft B/L based on customer feedback.
Issue Final Bill of Lading
Submit Shipping Instructions to shipping lines or NVOCCs.
Prepare and submit Verified Gross Mass (VGM) when required.
Prepare and submit export cargo manifest.
Process House Bill of Lading (HBL) and/or Master Bill of Lading (MBL).
Send pre-alert documents to overseas agents.
Coordinate with overseas agents regarding shipment documentation.
Ensure compliance with shipping line and customs documentation requirements.
Archive shipment files and documentation.
