Merchandising Manager (Production/CMT)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Merchandising Manager to join our team at PT STAR MAJU SENTOSA'. This is a full-time position based in North Jakarta, Jakarta. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the merchandising and visual presentation of our fashion product lines, ensuring they are tailored to customer preferences and maximize sales performance.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to showcase our fashion products in an appealing and impactful way

2. Analyze sales data and customer trends to inform product placement, displays, and promotional activities

3. Able to plan and liaise with CMT to produce home brands product in large capacity

4. Collaborate with the buying and marketing teams to align merchandising with broader business objectives

5. Manage a team of visual merchandisers and ensure consistent execution of merchandising standards across all stores

6. Monitor and review store layouts and product presentations, making adjustments as needed

7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in retail merchandising

8. Contribute to the development of new store concepts and the enhancement of existing retail environments

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a retail merchandising role, preferably within the fashion retail industry

2. Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and sales-driving product displays

3. Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and customer insights

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

5. Creativity and an eye for detail to design engaging in-store experiences

6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Retail Management, Marketing, or Design
