Job Title: Inventory Warehouse Clerk (Printing Industry)


Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Warehouse Clerk to support our printing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, monitoring, and issuing printing materials and supplies, while maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure smooth production and on-time delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of paper stocks, inks, plates, packaging materials, and other printing supplies.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations following proper handling procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and manual logs when necessary.
  • Issue raw materials and supplies to the production department based on approved requisitions.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in monthly and annual physical inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchasing department to replenish materials before shortages occur.
  • Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory.
  • Prepare materials for internal transfers and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory to prevent damage and waste.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company safety standards.
  • Assist in loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
  • Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or vocational certificate; a college degree is an advantage.
  • At least 2-3 year of experience in warehouse, inventory, or stock control, preferably in a printing, manufacturing, or packaging environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move materials when required.
  • Forklift certification is an advantage but not required.


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with printing materials such as paper stocks, inks, coatings, plates, adhesives, and packaging supplies.
  • Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
