About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at China Construction First Group Corporation Limited in Jakarta. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling the costs of our construction projects. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta.
What you'll be doing
Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure they remain within budget
Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
Preparing and analyzing progress claims, variations and final accounts
Providing regular cost reports to project managers and stakeholders
Identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and productivity
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project control processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in using quantity surveying software Glodon and Microsoft Office suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project teams and stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
