Position Summary:
The Junior Geospatial Data Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end processing, analysis, and management of high-resolution spatial data derived from drone-based photogrammetry and LiDAR sensors. This role focuses on transforming raw aerial imagery and point clouds into precise orthomosaics, 3D models, and topographic maps while ensuring rigorous data alignment with project specifications and engineering standards. The ideal candidate is an analytical and results-driven professional with a strong foundation in Geodetic Engineering or GIS, proficient in advanced geospatial software, and capable of collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver actionable spatial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process drone images using Pix4D or equivalent photogrammetry software
- Perform orthomosaic generation, 3D modeling, contour mapping, and terrain analysis
- Handle LiDAR and multispectral datasets; analyze and interpret results when applicable
- Ensure data accuracy, resolution, and alignment with project specifications
- Manage geospatial datasets for aerial mapping, land surveys, and inspection projects
- Produce maps, technical drawings, and spatial reports for internal and client use
- Collaborate with the field and engineering team for data collection and project alignment
- Perform ad hoc tasks related to spatial analysis or data visualization as needed
- Coordinate with related government agencies, including but not limited to NAMRIA, DENR-LMB, and other related agencies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering, Geology, Geography, or other related fields.
- PRC License is required for Geodetic Engineer and Geologist candidates.
- 2+ years of Geospatial data processing experience, including but not limited to Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, GIS, Geodesy, and Surveying.
- Proficient in using Geospatial softwares, including but not limited to QGIS, ArcMap, Pix4D, LiDAR360, and other related softwares.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Creative, results-driven, and willing to learn about Geospatial Solutions.
