Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new customers in line with company targets.
Maintain good relationships with existing customers and increase sales volume.
Receive, follow up on, and manage requests for quotations (RFQs) from customers.
Prepare and submit price quotes in accordance with company policy.
Negotiate prices, product specifications, payment terms, and delivery times with customers.
Coordinate with the Production, PPIC, Warehouse, and Logistics departments regarding schedules for cutting, slitting, shearing, or blanking processes, as well as product shipments.
Ensure customer orders are processed according to agreed-upon specifications, quantities, and timelines.
Monitor production status through to delivery to the customer.
Handle customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve them.
Conduct regular customer visits to maintain business relationships and identify sales opportunities.
Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and marketing activity reports.
Monitor market trends, steel prices, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Ensure that all sales documents (Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Delivery Orders, Invoices, and other supporting documents) are complete and properly documented.
Comply with company policies and implement applicable Quality Management, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and Information Security System requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum education requirement: D3/S1 degree (preferably in Engineering, Management, or a related field).
Experience in steel sales, manufacturing, or at a steel service center is a plus.
Understanding of steel products such as coils, sheets, and plates, as well as processes like slitting, shearing, blanking, and cutting, and material specifications.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
