Sales & Marketing Engineer (UPS)

Job purpose:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and marketing of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with M/E consultants, customers, distributors, and business partners.

• Meet/exceed sales growth objectives as established by Sales leadership.

• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries/proposal from customers.

• Support company promotional activities, including exhibitions, seminars, customer visits, and other marketing events.

• Prepare technical documents, product presentations, catalogs, and sales tools to support marketing and sales activities.

• Provide technical support and product-related information to M/E consultants, customers and the sales team

• Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential market expansion.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to support business decision-making.

• Prepare sales forecasts, demand and supply analysis, and periodic marketing reports.

• Prepare customers visits and project status/activity reports on weekly basis or as and when required by immediate supervisor.

• Consistently provide feedback to the team in the organization regarding competition, product and/or market needs.

• Maintain a sound technical/application knowledge base on all products.

REQUIREMENT:

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of experience in Sales and Marketing Planning, Marketing Support, Sales Engineering, Business Development, or a related position.

• Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical industries. Knowledge of Industrial UPS or related industrial products will be an advantage.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong command of English, both written and spoken will be an advantage.

• Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and business correspondence.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Good planning, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Having a Class C and/or Class A driving license.

• Proficient with Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Aggressive, persistent, proactive and must be a good team player

• Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
