A Wonderful Opportunity for a National Music Teacher:
Dyatmika School, Bali
Dyatmika School is a well-known not-for-profit school in Bali with a strong reputation. Founded in 1995, the school provides education for students aged 3–18.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Music Teacher for our Early Years and Primary students. The teacher will also support some whole-school aspects such as music events and extracurricular activities.
Start date: 27th July 2026
Dyatmika School has a successful, vibrant Performing Arts Department. Students enjoy excellent facilities in a well-resourced department. The department includes two music teachers, a drama teacher, a teaching assistant, a technician and peripatetic instrumental teachers. The Performing Arts facilities include:
? Four spacious teaching rooms
? Soundproof practice rooms
? A wide range of instruments and a dedicated Gamelan room
? Recording equipment
? Computers with music composition software
We ask that you:
? Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (S1)
? Have experience teaching Music to Early Years and Primary students
? Have a good level of English
? Have strong musical skills in one or more instruments
? Be confident using technology for communication and teaching
? Be willing to support occasional school events outside normal working hours, such as concerts or performances.
Additional selection criteria include:
? experience teaching bilingual students (desirable, not essential)
? a high standard of teaching practice and professionalism
? commitment to professional learning
? excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? being a strong team player
? respect for a diverse school culture
