Junior Graphic Designer

Devoted and meticulous graphic designer wanted

Our business is growing, and we want to expand our graphical capacity, so we can continue to provide best-in-class service for our customers. Hence, our office in Surabaya needs you: a trained, devoted and meticulous graphic designer.

Your primary tasks will be setting up and creating the final drawing of customer logos as well as handling the process of ordering printing clichés. The logos are used for branding jewellery boxes and other jewellery packaging items. The logo tasks are coordinated with our graphical team and our Danish sales department.

Your primary tasks will be:

· Setting up and creating the final drawing of customer logos

· Creative development of customer logos

· Proof copy process and finalization of files for production

Additional tasks:

· Setting up and creating the final drawing of customer specific products

· Creating mock-ups for new products

· Creating graphic material for print, SoMe and online store

· Assisting with Design works (if needed)

To be considered for the position, you must be a trained graphic designer with a focus on Illustrator in particular. You like to work independently - and don't mind a constant flow of new tasks in your inbox.

Your skills:

· You are an experienced user of Adobe's Creative Cloud software - especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign. Illustrator will be your primary logo creation tool.

· You are familiar in using SketchUp software

· You are familiar with final art and print processes

· You are structured, and you don't mind having many tasks at once.

· You are meticulous in your approach to each task.

· You read, write and speak English fluently

· You are good with file archiving

· You are good team player and passionate to learn more about Design

You will be a part of our team in Westpack's purchasing office in Surabaya. This is where you will work from. In your day-to-day tasks, you will collaborate with Westpack's purchasing office in Shenzhen (China) and Westpack's headquarter in Denmark. You will have graphical designer colleagues in both places - your manager operates from our offices in Denmark. All communication will be in English.
