About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic culinary team at Amara Uluwatu. This is a full-time position based in Badung, Bali, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As part of our kitchen brigade, you will contribute to the preparation and presentation of high-quality cuisine whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring smooth kitchen workflow and consistent quality across all our food service offerings.

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards

2. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your assigned station and kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations

3. Assist in food preparation including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients

4. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure dishes are prepared to specification

5. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to manage orders efficiently during service periods

6. Support senior chefs and cooks in implementing daily menu requirements

7. Rotate and stock ingredients and supplies at your workstation

8. Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain the highest standards

9. Respond promptly to feedback and adapt to operational requirements

10. Participate in kitchen training and development opportunities

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment or hospitality setting

2. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods

3. Understanding of food safety, health and hygiene standards

4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

6. Excellent teamwork and communication skills
