About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Solution Design Assistant Manager to join the talented team at PT Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia. As part of our full-time team, you will be responsible for providing strategic logistics solutions to our clients in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry. The role is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta and offers a range of benefits and flexible working options.
What you'll be doing
Collaborating with the logistics design team to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for clients
Analysing client requirements and proposing optimal warehousing, storage and distribution strategies
Overseeing the implementation of logistics solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of logistics solutions, identifying areas for improvement
Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their evolving needs
Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the logistics design team
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience in a logistics design or supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex logistics challenges
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of warehousing, storage and distribution operations, including relevant regulations and best practices
Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee the successful implementation of logistics solutions
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
Relevant tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
