About the role
SoftNET Cyber Europe is seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Telecom Sales Representative to join our growing team in Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving new business development within the telecommunications sector. As a B2B Telecom Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with enterprise and mid-market clients. This role is instrumental in expanding our market presence and revenue growth in the Asia-Pacific region, reporting directly to the Regional Manager and contributing strategically to the company's ambitious growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities within the telecom sector, targeting B2B clients of varying sizes
Conduct outbound prospecting activities including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking to generate qualified leads
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs and pain points
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements to secure new client contracts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations
Collaborate with internal teams including product, technical support, and operations to ensure successful deal closure and client onboarding
Track and document all sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM systems
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads and enhance market visibility
Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform business strategy
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the telecommunications, technology, or related sectors
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in new business development or enterprise sales
Strong knowledge of telecom products, services, and industry trends
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions to non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and close deals
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other regional languages is highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and attend industry events
