Fashion Designer

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Fashion Design, Fashion/Textile Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer.
• Fresh graduates with a strong design portfolio are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar applications.
• Skilled in creating mood boards, color palettes, technical drawings (flat sketches), and tech packs.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabric materials, garment construction, pattern making, and apparel production processes.
• Highly creative with the ability to translate concepts into designs that align with the brand identity.
• Strong market research skills with the ability to identify and analyze consumer preferences.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in the fashion retail or modest fashion industry is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct research on fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and consumer preferences to support the development of new collections.
• Develop collection concepts and themes that align with the brand identity and target market.
• Create mood boards, design sketches, technical drawings (flat sketches), and product specifications (tech packs).
• Select appropriate fabrics, colors, trims, and design details based on the collection concept.
• Collaborate with pattern makers, sample room teams, and production teams to ensure designs are accurately executed.
• Review and evaluate garment samples, providing revisions and improvements before mass production.
• Ensure product quality, aesthetics, functionality, and comfort meet the company's standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product development and collection launch process.
• Up to date with industry trends and provide innovative design ideas and product development recommendations.
