Job Description:
- Receive booking requests from the sales team or clients, send accurate booking emails to designated agents, and follow up on booking confirmations promptly.
- Monitor cargo movements from pickup to destination customs clearance, proactively update clients on key milestones (vessel sailing, arrival, customs processing, release), and respond to status inquiries in a timely manner.
- Act as the communication bridge between the Indonesia clearance team and clients. Advise clients on required documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, etc.), collect documents, and assist with additional data requests from customs.
- In case of delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs inspections, immediately coordinate with internal teams (operations, clearance, sales) and keep clients informed with clear action plans and timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date booking and tracking logs (Excel or internal systems) to ensure full data traceability and reporting.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, English, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or import/export customer service is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong learning aptitude and attention to detail are also welcome to apply.
- Language Skills (Mandatory)
-Chinese (Mandarin) – fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and typing
-Indonesian – fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and typing
-English – able to read, write, and understand basic business emails
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook). Comfortable using WhatsApp and WeChat for daily client communication.
- Detail‑oriented, organised, proactive, able to work under pressure, and customer‑service minded.
