Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain a Montessori classroom that is organized, safe, and developmentally appropriate.
* Plan and implement engaging English lessons using Montessori principles and hands-on learning materials.
* Observe, assess, and document each child’s learning progress and developmental milestones.
* Encourage children’s independence, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
* Provide individualized instruction based on each child’s interests, needs, and abilities.
* Promote positive behavior and model respect, responsibility, and kindness.
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administrators to ensure high-quality educational practices.
* Participate in school events, meetings, professional development, and training programs.
* Maintain accurate classroom records, attendance, lesson plans, and student portfolios.
* Ensure children’s health, safety, and well-being throughout the school day.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, English, or a related field.
* Montessori certification is preferred.
* Proficiency in spoken and written English.
* Experience teaching young learners is an advantage.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Passion for child-centered education and the Montessori philosophy.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
