Job Overview

Will be responsible for various financial tasks, including budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities and Duties

1. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.

  • Provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.

3. Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.

  • Assist in making financial recommendations based on analysis.

4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist in the preparation for audits and regulatory inspections.

  • Ensure the company's tax compliance, including the timely filing of tax returns.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and accounting standards.

5. Cash Management:

  • Manage and optimize cash flow to meet the company's operational needs.

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

6. Financial Systems:

  • Utilize financial software and systems to maintain financial records and reports.

  • Help with the implementation and maintenance of financial software.

7. Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights

8. Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Assist in special financial projects as required.

9. Corporate & Operational Tax Compliance:

  • Ensure 100% compliance with Indonesian tax laws, including the accurate and timely calculation, filing, and payment of PPN (VAT), PPh 21 (Employee Income Tax), PPh 23 (Withholding Tax), PPh 4(2) (Final Tax), and other relevant corporate tax obligations.

10. Audit & Defense Strategy:

  • Act as the primary company representative for external tax audits and regulatory inquiries. Proactively manage the defense process for any tax clarification requests (e.g., SP2DK letters), ensuring all supporting documentation is audit-ready and legally sound.

11. PMA & Regulatory Oversight:

  • Support the group’s compliance with Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) regulations, ensuring that all intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and shareholder-entity financial interactions are documented in accordance with Indonesian regulations.

12. Regulatory Updates:

  • Maintain a proactive system to monitor changes in Indonesian tax regulations and accounting standards (PSAK), immediately advising Management on potential impacts to operational costs or pricing strategies.

13. Liaison with Consultants:

  • Supervise and coordinate with external tax consultants, ensuring they have accurate data and that all filings match the company’s internal general ledger.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of solid experience as an Accounting/Finance Manager, Assistant Controller, or Senior Supervisor within a multi-entity structure.

  • Industry Background: Mandatory experience in Multi-Outlet Retail, F&B, Manufacturing, or FMCG environments (understanding the intersection of raw material processing and retail distribution).

  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related economic discipline. Tax Brevet A & B certification is highly preferred.

  • Systems Proficiency: Ability to lead the optimization and integration of ERP systems to streamline intercompany reporting between Manufacturing and Retail entities.

  • Languages: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and highly proficient in written and spoken business-level English.

  • Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Preferably Bali-based
