We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Deputy Head of Sales & Marketing to support the development and execution of our commercial strategy. This role will be responsible for strengthening customer relationships, driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and supporting the leadership of the Sales & Marketing team.
The ideal candidate possesses strong customer relationship management capabilities, commercial acumen, and leadership skills. Prior experience in the aquaculture industry is not mandatory; however, candidates with exposure to aquaculture, fisheries, agriculture, animal nutrition, or related industries will have an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Sales & Marketing in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
Drive revenue growth through customer acquisition, retention, and business development initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, business partners, and stakeholders.
Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive developments to support business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Technical, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure excellent customer service and project execution.
Monitor sales performance, analyze market data, and prepare regular business reports and forecasts.
Assist in managing, coaching, and developing the Sales & Marketing team to achieve individual and organizational targets.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Agriculture, Fisheries, Aquaculture, or a related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams.
Willing to travel as required for customer visits and business development activities.
