Deputy General Manager - Hotel

Job Descriptions :

• Support the overall strategic management of the hotel by establishing effective working relationships with senior colleagues, in particular the GM and Corporate Leader.

• Lead and coordinating the pre-opening and operating phase of the hotel project, working closely with stakeholders, contractors, and other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed within established deadlines and budget constraints.

• Assist the interim GM to oversee the recruitment and hiring process for key personnel, including department heads and staff. Coordinate training programs for the new team members.

• Coordinate and apply marketing and promotional strategies to create awareness of the new hotel and attract guests. Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns.

• In charge of Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Recreation as well as Food Safety.

• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that the hotel meets or exceeds brand standards and guest expectations.

• Plan and coordinate efforts to enhance the overall guest experience, including special events, amenities, and personalized services.

• Gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to processes, services, and systems.

• Work with corporate IT teams to implement and test necessary hotel management systems, including reservation systems, point-of-sale systems, and other technology solutions.

• Implement health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations. Conduct drills and training sessions to prepare staff for emergencies.
   

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism/Business/Marketing 

• Minimum 5 years Hotel experiences with proven hotel management

• Fluent in English

• Strong Leadership skills 

• Proficient in Interpersonal and Communication skills

• Problem solving ability and capability to manage unexpected situations

• Passionate about delivering great quality customer service
