Barback (Daily Worker)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Barback to support our bar team at a casual restaurant in Uluwatu, Bali. As a Barback, you play a crucial role in ensuring the bar runs smoothly by keeping it stocked, clean, and organized. Your efforts help the bartenders focus on delivering excellent service and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

        Restock and replenish bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, ice, and beverages.

        Keep the bar area clean and organized, including wiping counters, cleaning spills, and clearing empty glasses.

        Assist bartenders with preparation tasks such as cutting fruits, preparing garnishes, and stocking fridges.

        Help carry and organize deliveries of beverages and bar supplies.

        Remove and sort empty bottles, kegs, and waste regularly.

        Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by following sanitation procedures.

        Support bartenders in creating a smooth and efficient workflow during busy service hours.

        Perform opening and closing bar setup and breakdown tasks as assigned.

        Communicate effectively with the team to anticipate and meet bar needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

        No previous experience required—training will be provided.

        Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is a plus.

        Fit and able to lift and carry heavy items such as cases of beverages or kegs.

        A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to assist wherever needed.

        Basic English speaking skills required

        Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.

        Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
