About the role
This role involves preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly and annual financial statement closing processes, and ensuring all accounting processes comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including transaction journals and general ledger reconciliation
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including account analysis and required adjustments
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure data accuracy.
Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting documents required for internal and external audit purposes
Ensure all accounting processes comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with various departments to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency
Qualifications
Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance
Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Accurate, or similar systems
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines
Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic work environment with a fast work pace
