1. Electrical Check Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Electrical Lead Engineer to align the design scope and objectives.
- Review project requirements, technical specifications, and applicable codes and standards, and participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance.
- Support project planning and execution by engaging in relevant meetings, performing necessary quality assurance and design verification activities.
- Design, planning, and site commissioning of electrical power systems, power and grounding systems, lighting systems, low energy systems and technical bid evaluation for electrical equipment for large-scale engineering projects.
- Development of electrical power distribution concept, SLD, and schematic diagram.
- Preparation of specifications and data sheets for electrical equipment (e.g. GIS, Power Transformer, MV/LV Switchgear/MCC, Power SCADA system, Emergency Generator, AC UPS/DC Charger, VFD etc.)
- Review vendor document for above-mentioned electrical equipment.
- Develop and review electrical engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, calculations, design documents, and schedules.
- Conduct power system analyses using ETAP software, including load flow studies, short circuit calculations, arc flash assessments, and harmonic analysis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including process, mechanical, piping, instrumentation and control, to achieve fully integrated system design and execution.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical input during bidding activities and support execution to meet defined timelines and cost targets.
- Provide technical input and support throughout procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Assist in testing and commissioning activities, including site visits and surveys, and provide technical support during construction by addressing site queries and reviewing on-site conditions.
- Proactively identify technical issues and risks and take both corrective and preventive actions to resolve and mitigate them.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the discipline and organization, including development of work instructions, design guidelines, and value engineering initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical system design for FEED or EPC Project.
- Experience in bidding activities is an advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit design and electronic systems.
- Familiar with IEC standards and industry practices, including relevant local regulations.
- Proficient in relevant electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP, Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, or other power study simulation software).
- Good understanding of construction methods and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with the ability to independently interact with foreign clients.
- Certificate of Competence with qualification Associate Expert in Electrical Engineering (optional).
- Willing to be dispatch to overseas or domestic sites for project support if required.
- Requires experience in overseas site commissioning across various countries.
2. Electrical Lead Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate electrical engineering design activities for assigned projects or specific project scopes.
- Define and maintain clear project scope requirements and coordinate any scope modifications through the established change management process.
- Review project requirements, technical specifications, and applicable codes and standards, and participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance.
- Support project planning and execution by engaging in relevant meetings, preparing progress reports, and performing necessary quality assurance and design verification activities.
- Design, planning, and site commissioning of electrical power systems, power and grounding systems, lighting systems, low energy systems and technical bid evaluation for electrical equipment for large-scale engineering projects.
- Development of electrical power distribution concept, SLD, and schematic diagram.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in electrical system design for FEED or EPC Project.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as lead engineers or other project management positions.
- Experience in bidding and project execution activities.
- Good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit design and electronic systems.
- Familiar with IEC standards and industry practices, including relevant local regulations.
- Proficient in relevant electrical engineering tools (e.g., ETAP, Dialux Evo, AutoCAD, or other power study simulation software).
- Good understanding of construction methods and practices.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a professional attitude, consistent performance, and strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with the ability to independently interact with foreign clients.
- Certificate of Competence with qualification Senior Expert in Electrical Engineering (optional).
- Willing to be dispatch to overseas or domestic sites for project support if required.
- Requires experience in overseas site commissioning across various countries.
