About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Crawford Medical Centre in Howick, Auckland. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
Providing direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients with long term conditions.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Promoting patient education and empowerment, helping patients to understand their conditions and treatment options.
Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the overall growth and development of the nursing team.
What we're looking for
Registered Nurse qualification and current practicing certificate
Experience in a general practice is an advantage
Medtech experience is an advantage
Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
Being a certified smear taker and having a Vaccinator Authorisation Certificate would be a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the healthcare team
The ideal candidate will be a positive team player who communicates well and works effectively within a large multidisciplinary team.
The applicant must be located in New Zealand and must be a citizen, resident, or hold a valid work visa.

Hours
This is a full time position. Your hours of work will be rostered within the hours of 7:00am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays.
