Registered Nurse

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at Crawford Medical Centre in Howick, Auckland.   This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

• Providing direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients with long term conditions.

• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualised care plans.

• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

• Promoting patient education and empowerment, helping patients to understand their conditions and treatment options.

• Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the overall growth and development of the nursing team.

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse qualification and current practicing certificate

• Experience in a general practice is an advantage

• Medtech experience is an advantage

• Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care

• Being a certified smear taker and having a Vaccinator Authorisation Certificate would be a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the healthcare team

• The ideal candidate will be a positive team player who communicates well and works effectively within a large multidisciplinary team.

• The applicant must be located in New Zealand and must be a citizen, resident, or hold a valid work visa.

Hours

This is a full time position.  Your hours of work will be rostered within the hours of 7:00am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays.
